Blah.....

I feel bored and boring.
I have had no time to run.
No races planned for the end of June or all of July.
This makes me crabby....

On the bright side I am working on my first virtual race through Active.com and Ace Custom Medals to raise money for Running For Rescues. More info when that becomes available!

  1. I feel the same way! It's strange not to have anything planned.

    1. It's the first time in 10 months that I don't have someone immediate to look for. :( It doesn't feel right

  2. I'm sorry Meg! There are no 4th of July races coming up you can do? I signed up for a race on July 20th b/c I thought the same might happen to me, although I think I might die of heat exhaustion during that race. After that I'm going to be in the same position, no races until fall. I am SO excited for your virtual! I cannot wait to see how the medals turn out!!! Heeee!

    1. There are a couple but I didn't plan it out and I'm broker than broke :( #fail I have so much training to do at work that my weekends are pretty much occupied. As long as staff shows up to them I guess it isn't a wasted weekend :/

I'm so excited you are anticipating the medal designs, I'd like to get the ball rolling! They are going to be adorable!!! This is why I love you hahaha you are always positive and it transfers to me. Even though at the moment I am anything but positive.

      Thank you :)

  3. Yeah, me too. I don't have anything until January at Disney, and nothing after that. It's a weird feeling.

    2. I'm doing the half. I did the Princess in 2012 so I know the course, but I'm doing it with my cousin and her husband, who haven't done a Disney race before.

  4. Summer time is the worst time for training and racing by far - but I love the beautiful weather. But still, fall is next in line and will be here before we know it!

    1. I've never run in summer, it is difficult though to schedule the runs. How do you make it through?!

    2. It is not easy! I have a few tips on my blog here:

But all in all, Texas gets so dang hot that I just have to run on the treadmill most of the time!
