Bottle. Sip. Bottle. Guzzle.

So....a bit of a hiatus happened. I can't really explain it other than post race depression....

I didn't and don't have anything planned until September...I wish I planned June, July and August better. Since beginning to run my entire life has changed...including my favorite season apparently. Summer is where I get rid of my self-diagnosed seasonal depression, but now it seems to be that Fall/Winter is what I am looking forward to.

I began the Wine and Dine training guide this week and ran yesterday, 3 miles (actually 3.20) it was hard but I am so happy. I'm excited to have another Disney race within reach.

September looks like it will be fun though.

Saturday, September 14th Gulf Beach Half Marathon

Saturday, September 28th Hogsback Half Marathon

October is in the air. I think I'd like to do the ING Hartford Half Marathon. Still on the fence though.

AND THEN NOVEMBERRRRRRR!!!!

Food And Wine Festival Time is my favorite time of year! I am so excited that I get to go back again!

Also, I am working on getting a give-a-way together for my 1 year RUNIVERSARY! Yes I said that right. My 1 year anniversary of running is August 25. I am working on getting some of my favorite things over the past year together as a give away.

Keep checking back here as well as on my Facebook page for updates! RUNAWAY ROYALTY

  1. Whooohooo! 1 year!!! So you get seasonal depression? I do as well, although this past winter was not as bad because I took Vitamin D like it was going out of style. I actually get physical pain in my arms (feels like a charlie-horse) in the winter if I don't take the Vit. D. Years ago a Dr. told me it was fibromyalgia but I noticed the difference in the winter and summer and made the Vitamin D connection!

    1. I'm so glad I'm not alone!!!! Not that you suffer too! Do you just take a generic Vitamin D Supplement? I have been opting for tanning (I know, I know) but there is a difference. Those fibromyalgia commercials scare me...are you okay?

  2. I can't wait for October since I'll be at TOT, but I am SO excited for you that you are doing Wine & Dine. I wish I was doing it this year too - I love all the Christmas decorations at Disney!

  3. Training is always hard at first, but I feel like having a goal or race to look forward to makes all the difference. Can't wait to read about Wine & Dine. It's on my bucket list. :)

    1. I'm so excited to do it myself! Once I start hitting the 6+mile runs in my training I feel like I break through my mental block and then I get really excited about running.
